Client: Song Foundation

The Song Foundation invests in ideas, people, and organizations that amplify equity, power, prosperity, and joy throughout Southeast Michigan.

In early 2022, the Song Foundation engaged Sarah and partner Invisible Engines to create a logo and brand/editorial guidelines, as well as to develop and launch a website for their recently launched foundation.

We developed a brand voice and personality that felt true to the founders’ experiences growing up as first-generation Americans and their roots in post-punk and street culture. The website’s design challenges commonly held stereotypes about philanthropists, and its bold language reflects the foundation’s goal to advance revolutionary ideas rooted in community.
